Internet Explorer 9 Status Bar - Where's the cookies info icon gone?

Ok,

I usually run my setup in a block all cookies mode with just the sites I want to be able to put cookies on my system enabled via internet options/privacy/sites.

Problem is sometimes I need to add a new site to the enabled list. In IE7 and IE8 this was easy as the the little eye icon showed up in the status bar with a list of all cookies being blocked. I could then just enable the ones I wanted and leave all ad/tracking nonsense blocked.

However having finally installed IE9 the eye icon for the cookies blocked etc no longer appears in the status bar and since not every cookie associated with a website uses the main domain (ebay for example) I can't now get a list of cookies I need to enable.

Anyone know a way to show the cookies being blocked for a website in IE9? or restore the old behaviour of the status bar?:lease:
