Internet Connection

Lately I've been having a problem with my internet connection because of my PS3. Every time I play online & somebody else is on the internet (on a computer or laptop) the PS3 causes the connection to drop temporarily. I don't have any problems when the PS3 is turned off & I've never had this problem before (had my PS3 for 2 years). I've touched nothing on my setup. As far as I'm aware (nobody in my area is having internet problems) it's not my service providers fault.

I'm using a netgear router and a wireless connection. I've searched the internet and found this is not an uncommon problem. I've tried turning off media sharing, turning off Upnp, port forwarding (every time I try to forward port 3658 it says conflict with other service!), DMZ, and giving my PS3 a static IP address. Right now I've gone back to the usual setup, basically letting my PS3 decide everything with Upnp turned on.

Any advice would be grateful.
