I have just connected a JVC S-VHS to my Xelos receiver and, possibly coincidentally, the TV picture and audio signals are now subject to intermittent momentary (approx. 1 second) interruptions, in which the sound mutes and the picture blanks totally. The picture and sound then resume as normal until the next 'break'. I have tried disconnecting the video and find the reception problem persists, even when the video is bypassed completely. Has anyone experienced similar problems with this or any other TV? (The transmitter mast is operating normally, by the way.) :lease:

If you have Sky or a dvd player watch it via scart..........if that is not affected it is likely the tuner in the Loewe is at fault.

Thanks, JayCee. I think it must be the Loewe tuner, as you suggest, - playback of video input via SCART is unaffected by breaks. Engineer due tomorrow to check things out! :smashin:

    Alunevans,

    Just a thought:

If you've been fiddling with the rear connections, have you perhaps disturbed the aerial feed?

    (Give it a wiggle!).

    Dear TG
Yes, I've given all the conectors a wiggle (!!) without success. The engineer came earlier to day and took the set away for testing. (Fingers crossed!) :smashin:
