    Hello all,

    need your help,

thomson sky box with AV1 from sky box into AV2 of Panasonic DMR-E55 recorder. AV1 from Panasonic DMR-E55 to EXT1 of my philips 28 inch widescreen TV which is RGB compatible. If panasonic recorder is in standby, and I switch the sky box on, no probs at all as the TV switches automatically to EXT1.

However, the quality of the picture isnt very good at all. The colours are quite dark and in some cases greenish, and i am getting some interference from somewhere. This is in form of waves running through the picture. When the sky box was connected to the RGB scart on the TV there was zilch interference. Could this be down to the quality of the scart cables that I am using ? If so, can you suggest some cheap good cables please ?

Hope its not the loopthrough of the panasonic DVR ?

    many thanks
