    Evening all,

After recently setting up my HD TV and Surround Sound how I want (with great advice from here), unfortunately I get occasional inteference through my surround sound speakers.

Basically my current sound setup is-

    - Panasonic SA-PT170EB-K AIO Surround Sound
    - Digital Stream Freeview HD PVR

Xbox 360 Digital Audio goes into TOSlink port on surround sound. And the DS PVR audio is carried up to the TV through the HDMI, and then back down to the Surround Sound via Phono RCA.

The only problem is that at occasionally (i assume when a certain sound frequency is reached?) the speakers emit a crackling sound.

I wondered if anyone else had a similar situation, before i go messing about with settings (TV / DS / Surround Sound) or changing cables.

From my limited knowledge, I see maybe 2 issues that are causing this,...

    - Poorly Sheilded / Quality Cables
    - Incorrect settings on TV / DS / Surround Sound

Can anyone point me in the right direction, and reccomend any cables, or setting that may need to be changed?

    Kind Regards,

    Paul
