Saw that a few years ago - the zoomable picture of it is even better:
I was lucky enough to be at Cape Canaveral for a Rocket launch a few years ago.
By the time we got the kids ready at 5am we got within 20mi when we saw it. Spectacular even from there. Everyone just pulled off the freeway into the grass. At which point my wife dropped my walletI was lucky enough to be at Cape Canaveral for a Rocket launch a few years ago.
Me too, in '96. This one:I was lucky enough to be at Cape Canaveral for a Rocket launch a few years ago.

A couple of months ago I was in East Java, Indonesia. Hiked up to 8500ft to see Mount Bromo at Sunrise.
Took a jeep to ride over the 'whispering sands'. Amazing views. Never done anything like it.

STS-80 - NASA
Final shuttle flight of 1996 was highlighted by the successful deployment, operation and retrieval of two free-flying research spacecraft. The two planned extravehicular activities (EVAs) were canceled.www.nasa.gov
Still, not far off!i was at that one
no idea where in relation to the launch though - was far too busy trying to be a cool teenager which all dropped when the launch happened. Something i'll never forget!!

'Ice eggs' cover Finland beach in rare weather event
An unusual weather phenomenon created thousands of egg-shaped balls of ice along the coastline.www.bbc.co.uk
Need to be an expert to impart that bit of knowledge ehBBC Weather expert George Goodfellow said conditions needed to be cold and a bit windy for the ice balls to form.
Only surpassed by the three ninjas next to it
nice touch with the left and right lanes too
