interconnects to match qed silver spiral

    hi all, just bought 2nd hand rotel pre/power amp set up with 2 power amps and has qed silver spiral cable for hooking up cd to pre amp, now i need 2 sets to hook up to each power amp and cant afford 2 spiral, currently have have pair of van den hull d102 mk111 and was wondering would another pair of these work well with the cable i had with the set up , or do you recommend anything else that will work well,cheers.budget about £100 for 2 new or 1 vdh

    Hi there,

    To be perfectly honest I think the QED adds far too much of its own signature to the sound - hence why I got rid of mine. For the budget, I think it'll be very difficult to find cables that perform as well as Mark Grant's Canare range. More info on it here. Personally speaking, I would get rid of the QED and just use 3 pairs of Canares for better system integration.

    thanks for the advice , used marks cables before with plasma , will sell spiral on here no doubt:D

    I've also used Alex Cann's chunky cables, mains and audio, and I have to say I've found them to be flawless.
