    No problem with 670 so should be fine with the 970 (in most reviews quad core systems with 970 use around 300W under load).

    How old is the PSU? And was it used to overclock at any point?
    Can offer £16 posted for it as I don't want to pay too much for a used psu. I can get one of these new from my local store, Novatech, for just over 30 quid.

    @discover I think 4670Ks retailed well over 200, being the top tier Haswell i5 model, before 4690K update. I have a 4690K and it's a fantastic gaming cpu and the 4670K is basically the same, performance-wise.

    The PSU is about 6 months old and the system was running at 4GHz - so a small oc. I think it's £35 new so would like to clear £20 after postage.
