Totally irrelevant.
MS said they would support HD-DVD over a year ago on the PC platform but lets face it there are hundreds even thousands of products that have no native XP support but have drivers written by the manufacturer and work just fine.

Drivers will be more than abundant for Blu-ray PC hardware and certainly any future DRM built into hardware and the new Vista OS will support blu-ray.

I had expected no less from MS as their X360 will be in direct competition with PS3. It IS Microsoft after all.
