HI. i have had so called sky engineers (independants)out four times in the last three weeks! my dish was relocated on to a t&k brackett, and placed on the gable end of the house, previous to that it was located down on my garden fence, where the signal was getting blocked, hence why i had it relocated. ever since, it as lost signal four times, every time a engineer came out realigned it, each one blaming the previous engineers work, saying they had not done this right, or that should have not been put there. so on friday i had booked with sky a refit, who said a engineer would come out and locate the dish again, he arrived eventually at 3 o clock, i told him the problem, and he started making excuses that he could not remove the t&k brackett, because it would leave holes in the wall where the bolts would come out, ther for water would ingress these holes, so he phoned his manager, who told him to turn the job down. so i was left without sky tv again. i rang sky and explained, they just appolgised, and said they would rebook a refit for tuesday. so this will be the 5th time they are coming out.so when i explained that if this engineer does not relocate the dish, what happens next? the person from sky said you need six strikes for a particular problem, then if it is not resolved. they would send one of ther own sky engineers out who is a expert in this field!! so i have said that if it is not sorted on tuesday, i will be definatly be cancelling. in the meantime it as cost me a small fortune in phone calls, plus i have always been polite with sky staff. just thought i would share my experiance with members about sky.
