Genuinely brilliant game. Gorgeous art direction and atmosphere, excellent puzzles.

Along with Journey probably the best indie I’ve ever played.

Quick bump - this superb game is currently on sale on PSN for £6.50 or £7.99 bundled with the also excellent Limbo. Its normally £15.99 so a great deal. There's some other good PSN games on sale for a few days too, like Oxenfree and Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Wow...just wow. Limbo was wonderful, but i'm sorry, this was a 'sequel' that trumped it in every way. I've only just completed it and was mesmerised throughout. Honestly, one of the best games i've ever ever played, and that's saying a LOT when you take into account that i'm one of the original gamers who grew up on the original PS1 console, yeah?

Playdead can take my dosh whenever they want, mate.

Loved Limbo, but as people have said, this was a cut above. Very, very atmospheric, some great little puzzles, and flowed really well... until... sort of... when you transformed, not to give things away. The game seemed to turn in another direction then, and wasn't really needed in my opinion. Yes, it opened up some different puzzles but was just a little odd. And the ending was a tad "meh" as well.

Overall though, these didn't detract from an outstanding game.

Yeah, the ending seemed to have divided people, but honestly, for it was pretty incredible, especially from a thematic and story point of view. I guess it's a frustrating to play once that happens, but i've never ever been in that situation before in a video game. Really quite remarkable and bold.

Great game and atmospheric experience. Been ages since I played it but I remember watching the video below after finishing it to get a better handle on what was going on in with the story.
