I have an OLED 65” LG c9pla coming today, HEOS avr amp and a 4 way auto switching hdmi box.

i have too many profucts for the tv inputs so what would be the best setup process for connection, the HEOS amp avr has 4 hdmi ins too.

switch
xbox one x
ps4 pro
apple tv 4k
Sky q
Xbox 360 (hdmi)

obviously I need to use the hdmi switch in some way but also want to know do I go to the amp then amp to tv or allot the tv then use arc for audio etc?
any help appreciated

6 devices. 4 inputs only on AVR with hdcp 2.2 and TV with 3 hdmi ins plus hdmi2/eARC for the AVR input.

Any units capable of using the HD audio formats: connect to the AVR until all 4 inputs used (If more than 4...)

Other devices use the 3 TV inputs and ARC to send 5.1 sound to the amp.

If you watch more from certain non HD audio devices and the TV saves picture settings on a per input basis, consider connecting direct to TV for that benefit.

No need for any switch box to over-complicate things in my view (and has the same lack of per-input picture setting tweaks that going via the AVR has)?
