Just moved all of my gear around. I have a quick question. I have everything hooked up by hdmi. I have Verizon fios. When I checked the input resolution, it is displaying 1280x 720p? Why is it at 720p? Do I need to change settings somewhere? Or is it because of the show that I am watching right now? Thanks for the help. John

John, the verizon box is probably a 720p native box just like our sat boxes over here which are 1080i. You can change the output resolution in the output menu section of the amp to 1080p which will upscale the box, I doubt you'll see any difference but you may as well just set it as that if not already.

Thanks alot for the info. I just had my television calibrated. Was just curious on what the 720p deal was all about. I did not have the Arcam hooked up when he was here to calibrate my set. Let me go and check that and see what happens. Like you said, I won't even be able to tell any difference with te picture.
