Inovix Sat Nav IPG-01 upgrades

We purchased an Inovix IPG-01 Sat Nav about 18months ago and now this model has been discontinued in fact Inovix no longer make Sat Navs and no upgrades to the software are available from Smart2go, so really this is now an obsolete piece of garbage, and as there are so many new road systems in place wil soon to be useless. Does any one else have the same problem, and if so how do we solve this problem apart from buying another Sat Nav.

Yes you can or so I understand. I am in the same position. After some hunting I came across a spanish www site which explained how to convert the navigation program from elsewhere to run on the inovix. But I am going to try getting hold of Tele Atlas and see if they have records of what map format was used by Inovix and whether anyone else uses that format and get the map from them.
