    heyhey

I was just wondering whether the skipping problem that some where reporting a couple of months ago had been sorted?

I can't seem to find a definitive answer to the problem some people had.

Was it just on early stocks of the film or all? Has all been rectified?

Or should I just take a shot in the dark and order it now?

I don't think it has been remastered yet :(

What player do you have? If you have a Pioneer or a Panasonic, it will probably play, but I'd make sure you buy it from somewhere that will make it easy to exchange if it does skip (e.g. CD-WOW).

Stutter, skip - whatever :p It stuttered on mine which is a Sony.

There goes my theory that it will play on all players manufactured by companies that begin with "P" :D

If you do take a shot, be nice if you posted back to say whether it played or not :)

CD-WOW will give you no bother about a refund if it doesn't play, I'm sure.

    Watched it last night

Couldn't see any problems with it :) played fine on my chipped Toshiba SD 2109.

The film was ordered on CD WOW.

I know this probably doesn't really help, since the problem seemed to be kind of luck-of-the-draw in the first place. But there you go, no problems for me.

Good film too :) My only niggles being that the horror element takes a hiatus for most of the second half of the film and the final resolution of the story was a bit of a let down for me.

But they are only niggles, and didn't really bother me since the film was a good one.

Good recommendation, and very deserving of the J-Horror genre.

Now, if only someone had information on the DVD release of Ju-on. That would be a godsend :)

P.S anyone know of a simple solution to a problem I have with my Scart sockets? They are producing a loud, high pitched noise, which can become very very annoying when watching something. The sound goes if I push in and fiddle with the scart leads, but since I can't keep them there, the sound remains. Anyone know a solution without having to get it repaired or anything?

I'm glad it worked for you :)

Don't know about your other problem, but it sounds nasty!

Squirrel, how do you get your DVD profiler list in alphabetical and collection number order?

Is there a option for it? or do you put them all in alphabetical order to begin with?
