Hey guys. So yeah, I've got a faulty Epson 3010e on my hands. I plug it in, and the power button turns on. When I push it however, the little light in front of it just blinks blue. The manual indicates that it's heating up or cooling down, but it just loops this endlessly. No error lights turn on. No fans spin up in it.

I'm very new to projectors, and I understand that this is maybe very little information, but any jumping off point would be great. I'd like to see what I could do about fixing this guy up.

Looking at the manual it is as you say, is the fan working and is there a bulb in situ?

There is a bulb in it, and no, no fan spins up.

Could be one or the other then mate either the bulb doesn't work or more likely the fan is broken but I may be wrong.
