I am trying to assess if the current drawn for a SATA SSD inside a Macbook Pro versus that of a SSHD. Undoubtedly, the latter will draw more current/power - but by how much?

Obviously this information is provided as an aggregate - shown in SystemInformation/Power - and I noted that on a MBP 2012 with a Seagate SSHD ST500LX012, the figure hovers around 500mA (no strenuous activity, so similar to idle), low screen brightness.

Has anyone noted (and post here please if one can) the corresponding figures here? Cheers

Forgot to state that this figure is from the "Amperage (mA)" detail. Surely, viewers here do own MBPs?

Yes, and no. I am comparing user-observed numbers.
