After 12-13 years the lamp in my Infocus IN82 eventually died. The replacement bulb lasted 4 weeks before shattering. Just fitted a second replacement and the projector just emits a whirring sound, the green light flashes and after a short while it turns itself off and the red bulb symbol comes on. No light is emitted during this process.
Is the lamp faulty or is it the projector? I searched online and found only one reference to the issue but the writer referenced brightness buttons on the projector which the IN82 does not have.
Any help much appreciated, I need to get it working because I have many older sources that are component and S-Video.
