I am planning my set-up and have virtually settled on the Infocus 5700. I would like to mount it on top of a 7 foot cupboard, so the projector lens is parallel to the top of the image. Can anyone tell me if this is possible without inverting the projector in a pseudo ceiling mount arrangement?

In short - no. The 5700 has a fixed vertical lens, so at that height it would have to be upside down (unless you want a projected image starting at just over 7' from the groundl!).
