Infocus 4805 picture quality

Hi all I have an ancient set up a Pioneer 868 DVD player connected to a Infocus 4805 .
I’m currently using the SVHS connection would it be a noticeable improvement using a hdmi to the M1a input please?(if I can get the adapter)
