I hooked up my Infocus 4805 projector to a Pioneer VSX514. Hooked my Xbox, and DVD player as well as the rest of the system using optical audio and S-Video. Heres the kicker. I got a digital cable box from Comcrap. Whenever you hook up the coax cable to the cable box (powered up or completely powered off) you can see some strange bright thick bars moving slowly up the screen repeatedly. Heres the weird part part.... even while watching a DVD when the cable box has NO cables connecting it to the reciever and the coax is connected the bars show back up even in the DVD play!!! I am thinking it has something to do with a magnetic field or current leak into the coax line, but Comcrap checked it all and said it was ok. So whats the deal? Any ideas?

Try adjusting the Sync Threshold in the advanced menu.
