My parents are considering this set, however, space is very limited and I need a few details.

I know the general dimensions (from Tosh's website). What I need to know is :

How far from the front does the case start to taper ?

What is the width at the back of the case ?

Is the back of the case a consistent width or is it wider at the bottom ?

    Cheers.

I'd like to add to Paul's question... I'm after some information about the plinth the 36ZP stands on.

I'd like to put in a Marantz SR5200, Marantz DV4100OSE, Sky Digibox & Sony VCR. Will it all fit on the two glass shelves provided?

    6 inches.

    22.5 inches.

It's consistent after about the first 4 inches from the top. This TV does stick out quite a bit and does not taper in very much at all, unlike some sets that have a semi-circular type shape.

I don't know the exact dimensions of the 36" set but you will not have enough height to fit all those components in. Your only hope is to be able to fit some of them side by side, in which case you would need between 85 and 90cm in width for two full size components.

Not a chance getting them in.

I can only get my DVD player and amp in the space underneath and thats with one shelf left out. However, you can successfully put the digibox behind the tv as there is no back to shelves and the remote signal will pass right through.

Thanks for the info Doubledoom. I managed to get down to Powerhouse at the weekend with a tape measure and found it to be 29" across.

I found that when i removed the two shelves i had enough room to get all mine in.
    Yamaha RXV620
    Tosh210 DVD
    Panasonic 620 VCR
    Sky Digibox

I think Marantz are quite high though (higher than Yamaha) so you may have to leave one of your components out.
