We are currently looking into buying a large screen TV. Approx £2000- £2500 to spend. So we know we can get a rear projection TV, but before we perchase one we'd like to know the cost of replacing the lamps. As well as this how often should they be changed. Do you follow the half life or wait til it dies completely. (I know if you leave it and it passes the half life the picture quality reduces). What is the expected half life and full life of lamps and where can you get replacements.

    Thanks in advance

    Jo
