    If anyone's interested in the the above speakers, I've just purchased them from a company called SoftJam - www.softjam.co.uk - who, after extensive searching on the net, were the cheapest. :clap:

    Retail is £700...some sites were £650...SoftJam were £584 including delivery.

    They also sell the speaker stands cheaper, but they are on back-order.

    I ordered 2 days ago and received the speakers today.

    Well pleased!! :D

    Cheers,

    thanks for the post CliveG, I had also been looking at purchasing the same and saw the Softjam price on the net.....looked tempting and now you said the service was good I think I'll be going for a set myself.

    Please post a report on the infinities when you have them set up.

    Thanks, M

    M...you're welcome.

    They also deliver to your work address with no hassle, which is really handy, as I find it difficult to get time off.

    I'm expecting my new amp and dvd over the next few days, so as soon as I've set it up, I'll let you know how it goes.

    Cheers,

    Clive

    Are they worth the extra cash, I was only looking to spend around £300. Perhaps any other suggestions?

    It's not the most user friendly website as I couldn't find anything but computer software.

    Starting afresh in Google I came to this page which is where the Oreus stuff is hidden away

    Ian...Yeah, sorry, should have said go to to the "Boxed Brands" section on the left of the screen, and then to "Harmon".

    Didn't think the site was that bad! :D

    Cheers,

    It seems I have a few options on the Oreus sub...

    1. I can plug the satellite speakers directly into the sub;

    2. I can plug the satellite speakers into the amp;

    3. I can plug a subwoofer cable into the sub LFE input/amp output;

    4. I can plug subwoofer cable from LFE amp output to splitter cable, then to line level in, left and right on amp.

    Help!!! Which is the best way to set all this up??

    Thanks,

    Clive

    These two are the normal way of connecting up a sub / sat system.

    Ian..thanks.

    I know this is the normal way, but in your opinion is this the best way...? I've heard/read conflicting reports on this, but I'll go with your advice.

    Thanks again :smashin:
