    Are the films any good?

Or is that question best asked in another forum?

The first Infernal Affairs is excellent. I have not seen the remainder of the trilogy although I have read less than flattering reviews. It's all about opinions......

There all good , but as said the first is the best of the bunch it sort of gets tiring with the same old thing. Id watch this spaced out rather than all in 1 hit/few days.

Most things are better if you're "spaced out" :rotfl:

the first one is excellent. the second is a prequel to the first and the third sort of compliments the first 2. if you get that.
Like the above post says, it's beter to watch them over a period (not all at once).

If you collect LE's it's worth buying, even if you like the films and don't have them. I like these sort of sets. I don't buy them to sell on, just to keep them. But you do see them cropping up on e-bay etc after they go out of print.

Bought mine a couple of days ago from them. Another great touch from DVDfromKorea was that they initially charged me too much for postage as they thought the set was heavier than it was, so they emailed me yesterday to tell me that they'd be refunding the difference ($13) to my Paypal account.

Not many companies are so honest. They're definetly my favourite retailer for Asian films -- the customer always seems to come first. :)

With the 8 disc set there is a 5 hour timeline version so you can watch it in the correct sequence / ish.

If you just watch the normal trilogy then id watch the second first then the first and then the third.

    The third is confusing tho.

    Great sound too :smashin:

Nice looking set but I don't think any of the extras are in English.

Disappointing news for anyone who ordered this. Just had an email...

Have already mailed them asking to cancel my order. I was mainly interested in the 'complete' cut, so this set isn't really of much use to me now. :(

Good news for me! It looks like my 8 disc Infernal Affairs LE set may be more desirable again :D

got an e-mail and refunded the difference, as it is now a 6 disc set.
I'm tempted to keep the order (still listed as 2000 copies limited), but would be gutted if the 8 disc was to come out in the near future.
What do you guys think ? should I cancel ?

Obviously, I'd say cancel since I did so myself. Unless you're a LE whore, there's really no reason to own this set now. It has the same content as the dirt-cheap single releases, and the only extra is the 50-page photo book. The new packaging is ugly as hell too. :(

yes, I think your right. Must admit that it was the 8 disc package as well as (more importantly) Discs 7&8 that made me want this set in the first place.
I'm going to cancel tonight. I have a feeling that the 8 disc set will re-surface in the future too.
    cheers
