Hi, thought you might like to know that the Director of a British film, being shot on miniDV, is being interviewed on BBC Radio 5live tomorrow morning. (909 and 693 medium wave)

If you aren't in the UK then you can listen live from the website:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/worricker.shtml (the 'listen live' link is in the top right hand corner)

It's some time between 10am and 11am (GMT)... probably at 10:30.

It's really exciting that the media are beginning to take independent film and miniDV as a medium seriously.

Have a listen and let us know what you think...

Any idea what cameras they used in the production?

I know the director's planning on discussing the kit in the inteview... what BBC were really interested in was the 'do it differently' approach the production had taken.

Too often a DV production falls back on the old Dogma style - which becomes little more than a docu-drama. Making this film, we wanted to show that great scenes could be shot with a 1 chip camera... (in this case a Sony TRV30)
