Indie Games Winter Uprising -

Sounds an interesting idea and will hopefully raise a bit of awareness of how great some Indie Games have become.

Xbox Live Indie Games have had a difficult time getting attention -- sometimes from Microsoft itself. But, that will (hopefully) change with a new developer-led initiative, called Indie Games Winter Uprising. Not unlike XBLA's Summer of Arcade and Game Feast series, this timed promo will highlight over a dozen "great games" on the service with "prices as low as 80 to 400 Microsoft Points."

The promo will last for exactly one week, during the first week of December. With games from Ska Studios and Radiangames participating, this should certainly entice newcomers to the Indie Games section of the Dashboard.

I didn't realise this was organised by that Zeboyd guy (Robert Boyd?) - hoping that MS actually have a wee 'event' listed on the dashboard to invite people into these games instead of just a wee something hidden away in the indie game section itself.

Sorry for being so quiet on here recently guys, just not been getting a chance to check out the latest games but hoping that changes soon... Not entirely sure it will but I can hope anyways lol

I can't wait for "Cthulhu Saves the World." Boyd's last game was one of the best RPG's of all time. Breath of Death VII is right up there in my all time list with Dragon Quest III, Earthbound, and others. :)
