I've heard the R2 version is edited, if this is true would that meant that the R1 version is un-cut?

    Really want the difinitive version,

    Thanks in advance.

Yep the UK R2 release of the Trilogy has The Temple of Doom cut by over a min, that is why I went and imported the R4 set which is exactly the same as the R1 set but is PAL instead of NTSC and I always go for PAL first if I can as I dont have the best TV and NTSC titles dont display very well.

I hear that temple of doom is probably better in its cut form anyway so I bought the r2

i got the R2 versions as well, but the cut scenes in temple are a bit jumpy and obvious, but i can live with it (just) but if i spy an R4 version going at a reasonable price i might be tempted to upgrade.... :smashin:

Yes, I'd agree. The UK censorship cuts in this title are a bit clumsy and do detract somewhat from the clarity of what's going on in the affected scenes.

Although I can't confirm it, it's highly likely that R2 product from outside the UK is uncut. Equating R2 with the BBFC is a bit of a flawed technique; the UK is only one tiny corner of R2-land.

Yep, that is why I said the UK R2 release as I believe all other R2 releases are Uncut but they dont have English Packaging so if you want a PAL Uncut set with English Packaging its R4 or nothing.
