Copied from indie magazine.co.uk Paramount Home Entertainment has brought forward the eagerly awaited release of the Indiana Jones Trilogy on DVD in the U.S., in order to avoid the release of Finding Nemo at retail, according to a Video Business report. The Indiana Jones Trilogy will now reach retail on October 21, a less competitive release date, according to Paramount. Moving to October 21 is a win-win situation that gives Indy the focus and attention he deserves, said Meagan Burrows, president of Paramount Home Entertainment. The Indiana Jones set will include the three films plus a disc of extras that include documentaries Making the Trilogy, with Lucasfilm archive material, The Light and Magic of Indiana Jones, focusing on effects pioneers Industrial Light and Magic, The Sound of Indiana Jones and The Stunts of Indiana Jones. The Indiana Jones Trilogy is expected to retail for $49.95 (around £31). No release date is set for a UK release at time of writing.
