Gambit, please, do yourself a big favour and buy Keith Caputo's 'Died Laughing'. I would be amazed if you don't love it... and it's about as real as music gets these days.

Alabama 3 - Nightmare on Coldharbour Lane

The weird thing is, it's not even the normal sort of thing I listen to! However, I've owned it for over 4 years, and it must nearly be worn out...

    Love - Forever Changes

Just sums up the whole 60's on one masterful album. And I was only just born when it was released.

    Absolutely Indispensible!!

Right, that's it. I'm going to have to go and put my Bellybutton CD on RIGHT now!

I could happily listen to that album once a day, every day. Every track is a gem.

Have you seen the videos adox? I used to know a record company person who kindly gave me the official promo cassettes for 'King Is Half Undressed' and 'Baby's Coming Back'... both awesome videos... amazing to think, although they're not old, it was from a time when DVD was not even a twinkle in our eyes.

It is one of the great mysteries of our time why Jellyfish were never all conquering

apart from this girl I once
Oh, I'm sorry. Just reminiscing a bit there!

Personally I think his solo work is far better than anything Life Of Agony did, even though they're a good band in their own right.
His solo stuff is less thrashy, less heavy and with more melody and emotion. His voice isn't quite so deep maybe.

Died Laughing is simply a great album. Brilliant songs, diverse, well produced and an album I've never grown tired of.

Died Laughing - Pure is a mini album with a few acoustic tracks from Died Laughing plus a cover of Annie Lennox 'Why?' and some other tracks. Not quite as essential as Died Laughing, but still very much worth buying.

Same. 'Ten' means a great deal to me, and features 'Alive', my most favourite song ever!

Different from Life of Agony earlier stuff, and 'Pure' is more or less an accoustic version of 'Died Laughing'. It's all excellent.

    Nice one. That album's timeless.

Just listening to EMF's 'Stigma' at the moment, I always remember it being good... but not THIS good!!!
