Is anyone else fed up with my Incubus pushing? Although I listen to a wide variety of music (and I do listen to a WIDE variety) I can't get enough if them and don't get bored of them.

Surely someone must have one artist or group they never grow sick of?

    Comments please

You mean you listen to a wide variety of Incubus albums:laugh:
Im beginning to wonder if your actually their bass guitarist:rolleyes: ;)

Favourite band, Nirvana...................first, last and in the middle. Its not the hype, I had never even heard of them until I was listening to a shop demo of some speakers...it was luv at first listen. Its that stripped down sound, simple strong riffs and fantastic use of vocals, coupled with deft bass playing and thunderous driving drums.I never get bored of listening to them or talking about them:boring:

Sevendust. The weightiest of Heavy Metal riffs which also qualify as simply PHAT! Plus a vocalist with a great deep voice who can actually sing, which is a rarity in metal bands nowadays.

I haven't tired of Kiss in nearly 20 years of liking them, that said, there's quite a few albums to keep you going :D

Other than them, I could listen to Jellyfish and Keith Caputo for an eternity and still hear new things. For sheer energy, daftness and insanely catchy tunes, The Misfits are always never too far from my CD player either.

I'm not trying to start a riot here but I've heard a couple of Incubus tracks and although they're good, I can't see what's particularly 'stand-out' about them

Well I suppose they dont wear Gene Simmonds studded jock strap:laugh:

I have a haunting feeling when I listen to Incubus thats a bit deja vue................It reminds me of the sort of music Boston, REO speedwaggon, Foreigner, Styx and Survivor have done. I dont mean the same music...but the way it fits in with current trends. Good to listen to, not over the top in any one direction, catchy, good musicianship, good singer.....but not different.

    Quiet riot eh
