had it for ages.... good film though.
Yeah...but the one's Movietyme are shipping are legal...
My copy from Movietyme arrived today.
Laughed so hard, I thought I was going to cough up a lung
Just watched this tonight sound is some of the best ive heard on a movie, must go on one of the best movies for a sub workout list Awesome.
sound was good but i think it could have been better!!!
Mine shipped from CD Wow yesterday and I got it this morning thats gotta be a new cdwow record
CDWow have a habit of sending dispatch emails the day after they have posted the order so your copy was most likely posted on Wednesday like mine but even then 2 days from Hong Kong is better than First Class with Royal Mail lol
My postie used to be here at 8am everyday now its anytime of the day.
Latest was the other day 2:05
Im hoping this little puppy is waiting at home for me!
After checking it out it looks like it is missing two extras from the 2nd Disc which are present on the R1 and R2 release but for the price I am happy.
extras dont concern me, they used too but too many unwatched movies and not enough time mean dont get to watch the extras anyway.
Definitely no DTS on the R2 version then?
I haven't checked but the volume seemed on the low side, I had it at -7db and it still sounded a little quiet.
Did any one spot the little bits of James Bond music in it, just watch Goldfinger when Bond is spying on Goldfinger at his Swiss plant then play the chapter when Mr Incredible starts to infiltrate the enemy complex?
Even the woman who did the costumes reminded me of Rosa Kleb.
Mind you most of the stuff looked like a homage to the Fantastic Four.
To be honest though i found it to be boring and struggled to stay awake through it
Okay, to be fair the middle was a bit flabby, but the beginning and ends were fab!
To be fair i was tired when i put it on so we shall give it another go.
...and remember it was one of the longer Pixar films at 111 mins!
Same here ..had to keep checking the amp display to make sure I was not turning the volume down by mistake!
True but i didn't have any problems sitting through The Lord Of The Rings Extended Edition Trilogy in one sitting
My word, that is some feat!
My hat off to you!
We didn't even stop for a coffee break
has anyone got the R1 yet? I was wondering what packaging it has? does it have a slipcase? Or does it have a shimmery inlay on the amaray like the R2?
I got my R1 (from DVDSoon) on Wednesday, it is in a slipcase with a shimmer effect, the amaray sleve has a plain red background.
Pic and sound quality are excellent as you would expect from a pixar release. Great film, but I don't think it's one of pixars best.
When I first saw it my thoughts were Janeane Garofalo does Rosa Kleb.
She's supposed to remind you of Anna Wintour, the editor of Vogue in America.
Watching this film with hindi language is so funny, i understand most of it, and its not just slapped on, its been done professionally.
The dd 5.1 is also just fine, think a dts would blow my walls. On the animation side, love the way pixar have done the hair, looks and handle like real, and it gets wet too.
Nemo was full widescreen i think, shame incredibles has borders, nemo had a fantastic pq, and this could of done without borders, feel if you can see a bigger picture you get more into film/s. 'Boundin' is full screen and amazing pq.
My fav is the action in the jungle with the saucers chasing the kids.
Anyway great film, cant wait for next brad bird/pixar film.
Bit slow I thought, it had a few moments but thats it
Watched this last night. For me this is easily the best of the Disney/Pixar pictures I've yet seen. It is clearly aimed more at adults whilst retaining the kiddy appeal, and is much the better film for it.
Despite the absence of a DTS soundtrack, I'd rate this as possibly the most amazing sounding disc in my collection. It gave my SVS PC Ultra subwoofer one hell of a workout!
Very bond-esque towards the end too! I Loved it and will watch it again!
It slots in just behind Shrek and Shrek2 for me in my top 3 DVD's.
Although, maybe I should have a word with myself if my top 3 films are all cartoons!
