Increased judder

I have a LG 47LW550T LED tv which I have had for 3-4 months. Initially I used to notice a slight judder/stutter on some satellite programs. However, since last week this has increased markedly and on some programs its unbearable. Watching HD home videos produces unacceptable level of judder.

Whats going on? Has the tv updated its software automatically? I have noticed the functions of 2 remote buttons have changed around? Weird! THe tv is connected to the net through an ethernet cable.

THis judder problem is a big showstopper.

On my 47lw659 I’ve noticed the same degradation after the last firmware update (05.10.02). I thought that maybe my eyes are getting old but now it is clear that probably this degradation is real.
I never had big expectation on LG but unfortunately this is going from bad to worst.
I’m not sure if the upgrade is automatically done (usually there is a popup windows informing you that there is a new fw available but you need at least to accept it).

I switched menus one day and it said that there was an upgrade going on. It didn't ask for my permission.
