Does anyone know where the inbox letters and addresses are saved for the internet? I had a crash and when I load up all my settings are lost each time so it looks like a reinstall or creating a new profile and deleting my last one. I can find the cookies and favourites but not the above.

I'm presuming your using Outlook/Outlook express?
If so goto tools/options/maintenance then click the store folder button, this will show you the path.

Off the top of my head in win9x it is something along the lines of
    windows\application data\identities\microsoft\outlook express

Its something very similar to that, find the app data folder and you'll find it from there.

    Win2k/xp is

    Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{some long funny number}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

I think the files you're looking for have a .dbx extension (assuming outlook express). If you're using Outlook, search for a .pst file.
