The Inateck USB 3.0 Hard Drive Docking Station is a USB docking solution that can support both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives.

Included in the package is the docking station, a USB 3.0 cable and a power adapter.
On the back of the docking station are connections for the included USB and power adapter cables as well as a power button. On the top, there is the two open drive bay and an LED indicator for power. The drive bay is exposed for easy hot swapping of drives with the bay door having a gap for a 2.5" drive but swinging down to allow installation of a larger 3.5" drive. Both hard disk and SSD drives are supported and the station supports both USB 3.0 and UASP protocols for maximum data throughput. The docking station measures in at 134 x 78 x 66mm and weighs 310g.

When connected to a computer via USB, any drive installed in the station will show up to the host Operating Station much in the same way that any external USB drive would. This lets you manually manage the connected drive and while this is in essence no different from a normal USB hard drive enclosure, the fact that you can quickly swap out drives can be a much more convenient solution for some.

A docking station like this is ideal for the tech hobbyist who is regularly working with computer drives or fixing the computers of friends and family. If you are the kind of person who regularly works with hard drives, backing up computers, restoring or upgrading drives, this USB 3.0 docking station makes a lot of sense.

I got this from http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...pf_rd_i=468294
