I am mounting a plasma screen over a decorative fireplace and have a problem with the centre speaker. I currently have a Kef to match Q55.2s but this cannot be built in. Can anyone recommend a build in/flush mounted centre?

Check out the KEF Ci Series (Custom Instalation Series) on the www.kef.com website. They're not that expensive - £105 for the Ci 130QR, £135 for the 160QR/QS - full price list at http://www.audio-excellence.co.uk/price.html

Other companies do in-walls but if you've already got KEFs then the Ci Series make sense.

Have a look at the Artcoustic DF Multi. This is a centre channel that is only 65mm deep, about the same as a plasma, is the same width as a 42" plasma, and can effectively be made in almost any finish you want to complement or contrast the decor. It simply hangs on the wall so you do not need to worry about making holes in your walls. And it sounds really good!! http://www.artcoustic.com/news.htm

In response to the KEF Ci's, one of the adverts in whathifi had these at half price. I think the ad pages were green.

These people. Site finally up and running (after ~ two years of nowt ?) and the monthly WHF ads are downloadable as PDFs (are you reading Mr Richer ?).

The Kef Ci series are all cheap but grills are extra.

    Mike.
