Can anyone recommend a DV camera for getting in-car footage on circuit trackdays?

I'm not sure if one is better than any other, but I would imagine that lightweight and some form of image-stabilisation would be a good thing. Also, can anyone recommend a camera mount over another? I'll probably attach it to a rollbar, facing forwards, but I have seen clips which look like they have been shot through the windscreen form a dashtop mount, or some suction mount on the windscreen?

Thanx in advance for the help.

    Bruce

I, and a lot of friends use the suction mount from here http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting Brackets.htm . Check eith the trackday organiser if you can use cameras, most tracks run by Octogon won't let you. I wouldn't worry too much about image stabilization, I use a cheap Panasonic without any problems.
