In Car Mount solution for portable dvd player recommendation

Just like to share my experience finding the perfect solution for mounting a portable dvd player (flip up screen type) in the back of my car.

Most popular solution is having a bag/case strapped to the back of one of the front seats which carries the dvd player (pictured below). This is far from ideal, as you will see from Picture 2, the main part of the dvd unit hangs too close to child's feet.

After hours of googling, I found three different universal mounts which attach to the headrest posts of the car seats. These hold the dvd player in a vertical position and won't swing about:

I decided to buy the TNB mount, because it looked the neatest solution and it was plain black. It fits our Sony DVP-FX730 7" dvd player perfectly. I paid £33 inc delivery from B4UDirect.

Thanks for the info. It helped me choose the TNB holder though I found it selling under the Navitech brand through Amazon at around £20 +p+p
