Unless a package is marked as a Gift with a Value under about £35 you are at risk of customs, marking it as just a gift wont make any difference if they put the full amount of the package.

For the average price of a PSP you could probaley get a customs bill for something like £40

I used this bunch of cowboys when importing my DS. They promised on the web page & subsequently to me in writing that no import taxes would be liable at my end. I stupidly presumed that they were paying them on my behalf.

My package was opened & the contents examined. I was told by the shipper that I could not have the item until I forwarded them my receipt showing exactly what I had paid. C&E did not believe the false paperwork inside the package that showed I had bought a DS for 18 quid ! They made me feel like the criminal. I got the item after a few days delay & about 10 weeks later got a bill for £28.00. All emails to the company were completely & utterly ignored !

I reckon they should rename the company "madifyouimportwithus.com" !

Well, well, well after 6 days since I ordered it.

Ive just recieved my brand new US PSP!, guess what NO CUSTOMS CHARGES!!

The package was marked up as a gift and the value was $16.23, god knows how they got this through customs, but now it makes the saving worth having, they even put RE Apocalypse UMD that I order with the PSP in the box as well.

Hence to say thanks to importmadness.co.uk and the money that I saved for customs charges will be spent on a brand new game!

Sorry to the other posters who received bad service from these guys, but im pleased with what I got!

I hate Import Madness, on the Gamesradar forums, quite a few members pre-ordered a DS from there websites and got screwed over with bad customer service and not knowing that IM had put the price underneath £35 to avoid customs without their permission, this resulted in people having there DS's stuck at customs for weeks.

    www.videogamesplus.ca
    www.liksang.com
    www.playasia.com

Are all better sites to import from.

If customs was going to charge for it, they would have kept it longer to review what was inside, The package wasnt opened, and its wasnt delayed.
