Shouldn't think so. I don't get charged for dollar conversion on USA sales via paypal.

No mate a limited run game, which seems to not have any intentions of being distributed in the UK

I can only say that I've never been charged for EU stuff. USA importing is a bit trickier as you can be eligible for duty depending on value etc etc. But for a game from der nerderlands - no.

    Hi,

If Dutch VAT is included on the purchase then there is nothing to pay coming into the UK because it has remained within the EU.

Strictly speaking, if Dutch VAT hasn't been charged for whatever reason then you should be taxed coming into the UK but I doubt this would happen as they would assume that duty had already been paid.

Money conversion charges on PayPal are built into the excahnge rate - just like buying currency at the Post Office - they say free commission, but it isn't, you just don't see it.

So if the Euro rate is 1.16, then PayPay may use 1.10. You won't really be aware of it and besides it amounts to pennies at the value you are talking about.

    Cheers,

    Nigel

I've used Ebay to buy from Germany, France and Holland and never experienced any issues as we are (at the moment) part of the EU. As such duty doesn't apply.

Only if it's a prohibited item (food etc) would it attract attention from Customs.

VAT must be charged by the seller if applicable, it cannot be charged by anyone else.
Within the EU there is no duty so as logn as the shipping costs are covered then you're fine.
