I've just imported a Roku Ultra 2020 (4800R) to the UK and wanted to share some details and thoughts on importing these.

Where did I get it?
Ebay - It was supplied new through the global shipping service
Price - You pay all delivery and import duties up front and it was just over £120 on my credit card all in
Delivery took 2.5 weeks

What makes this better than a UK model?
Dolby Vision Support
Atmos on all services including Netflix
Better Wifi
Wired Ethernet
RF Remote
Headphones plugin to remote control
Faster CPU
Supports the new upcoming AV1 Codec

How do you use it in the UK:
You will need standard travel plug adapter or shaver plug adapter to power it up (Power supply is OK for 240V)
Sign up for a UK account with Roku
Just give the email you signed up with when you start the Roku Ultra, click the email confirm link and it works

Any restrictions when using in the UK?
NO IPLAYER Support

All other UK services work fine (Tried Now TV, ITV, C4, C5 and UKTV Play)

Why buy this over a Shield or Apple TV?
Cheaper (Includes some features from the top spec Nvidia)
If you need CI control support then it is way easier than Nvidia or Apple

Overall I would say if you aren't worried about IPlayer then this is a great choice for streaming. The Shield is a better choice for local file based streaming and some people prefer the Apple TV interface (Although nothing wrong with the UI on Roku or Nvidia)
