Import Duties

Does anyone happen to know if importing ex-demo av gear would carry any type of import duty, I have been in touch with an american dealer who sells ex-demo units with only one hour on the clock claiming that no duty is payable on second user goods.

Hi There,
If you go to the Customs website, I think you will find you are liable for duty and VAT.
