I'm just wondering how watching a true 4:3 image on a rear projection tv might cause screen burn because of the borders on the left and right of a widescreen

The whole screen burn thing scares me a bit, just how do things like the static sky one logo affect rear projectors? nothing is mentioned in terms of a critical time period in the manual for the Toshiba 40pw13.

    Any help would be appreciated

Saw a sony rptv yesterday in miller bro, mtv logo was clearly burnt into the screen, and I cant believe they keep the demo sets that long the way models change so often. It would have irritated me to own that particular set in that condition.
