iMac > Sonos > Arcam AVR

Active Member
Hopefully I'm just suffering a bit of brain-fade here as I've been reading a lot of forum posts tonight but what would be considered 'best practice' to hook up my iMac located in the 1st floor office (via Sonos) to my AVR350 directly below it in the lounge...?

I currently have the AVR hooked up via coax to DVD, optical to Sky and via analogue to my CD37. I have an M-DAC here which was giving me output directly from the iMac but was planning on moving this into the lounge and having the Sonos Connect output through it. What input would be 'best' on the AVR? (I seem to remember that I shouldn't use the AUX input as this was reserved for 'possible future Arcam product')...

Any help appreciated as I really want to crack on with this now and despite quite a bit of searching on AVF and Google, cannot find my answer.

Thanks :)
