    I'm looking to sell my 2011 27" Imac with the following specs;

    . OSX Mountain Lion
    . Intel i7 3.4 GHZ quad core processor - upgraded from i5
    . 12gb of ram - upgraded
    . 1TB HDD
    . 6970m 2GB GPU - upgraded from 1GB
. Able to boot to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit - officially licensed copy

It's will also come with the original imac box and documents and disks, including the stickers!

An Apple magic mouse thats barely been used and the wireless Apple keyboard.

Also its covered till the 25th of May 2014 by Applecare.

As for condition, its pretty much the same as the day i got it except for one small mark on the front which is about the size of a dot with a ballpoint pen on a piece of paper. No marks on the screen on anywhere else.

And for anyone interested I'm the original owner and it was bought directly from Apple.

I'm looking for [-]£1200 [/-] £1100 collected, not looking for trades.

    Hi

I'll reply before it gets to page 3!!

Can you tell me the exact model and perhaps PM me the serial number so I can check myself?

I'm looking to upgrade to an iMac from my MBP and just want to check whether this will suffice or to look at a newer or even new one!

    Thanks

Sure. As for the power of this model, its still more powerful than all but the newer i7 imacs which would all be much more expensive than this one. It has a i7 2600 Sandybridge which is still in the top list of high end processors on cpuboss.com. Same goes for the graphics chip, they only offer decent ones when you get the top model.

Could be very seriously interested in this if Apple did the upgrade and all covered by AppleCare.

    I'm near enough to collect.

Hey I'm glad to say they did all but the ram upgrade so its not effected the applecare policy and the likes.

Good, as have heard of self-upgrades NOT allowing OS system upgrades, which is pretty alarming! Hence my question - the ram self fit shouldn't be an issue.

Would you consider a tentative offer (needs Mrs H's arm to be twisted a bit more!) of £1000 collected - know that more than that will very tricky!

Never had any problems with it and i use it everyday, never had any graphical issues running mac OS or Windows 7 and I have played a lot of games on it.

As for Windows, its installed on a partition via Bootcamp so its uses the hardware to its maximum potential. The copy is official but it was a one off use license so if its uninstalled it will be gone forever.

Not really very knowledgeable on Mac/Win combined systems, but wondered if upgraded to Mavericks, would the W7 be lost?

Having an upgradeable dual boot system, as I want to upgrade to Mavericks and still be able to use W7, would mean I could sell the W7 laptop and offer a bit more if that helps with your decision.

    Thanks

Well Bootcamp is an apple program which allows for easy installation of Windows. So its their own program and wouldn't effect the windows partition, it'd remain like if Windows was your soul operating system, its pretty handy.

An ye the extra money would really make a quite a significant difference as its all going towards a new system!

I'll take a chance on a Maverick upgrading allowing the installed W7 to work OK and can offer £1040 max providing this is the model with thunderbolt, usb & firewire connectivity, any good?

I can collect any late afternoon/ early evening to suit if you are good to go.

    Cheers
