What's the TV to be used for? Do you have any interest in 3D?

Have a search for the owners threads for those models and reviews. I think the 530 is higher specced, you are paying for the 3D on the 450

    we'll believe you:devil:

Whats the set going to be used for? whats your evironment like? pros and cons of both plasma and LCD. The ST30 is amazing for that price even with the chance of the green issue, nothing compares for that money...may be best to get extra warranty though.

I will be using it mainly for streaming Apple tv and watching sky, it will be in my living room which is a very bright room unless blinds are down which they are most of time. I want to spend about £450 and as stated just want a decent upgrade from the technika 42" full HD lcd lol

Id add the S30 to your list then and go to RS and take a look. Not too fond of cheaper LED sets they tend to have more back light bleed and clouding, if looking at one you want to view it in a darker room so maybe ask to use the demo room.
