can anyone help me out and has anyone got star wars galaxys
This should be in the PC gaming section - Moving.
Tried Galaxies when it first launched and it was too long winded for me.
Have been playing another MMO for the last 6 months called City of Heroes and am still loving it after 6 months of constant play.
World of Warcraft has a good reputation and is a lot more involving the CoH by all accounts with crafts and skills to learn where CoH's is more action orientated all the time though there is an RPG element to it depending on your gameing style , but ive never tried that one so can't comment on it.
As with all MMO's , individual tastes will vary enormously and what one person loves another will hate you really need to try and see yourself.
All of these games give you a month free before you sign up and while in Game the other day i saw they had CoH for £10 or £12 , a real bargain with a month free just to try and see if you'll enjoy that kind of gameing experience.
WOW is still about £30 as it's a newer release.
All the best and have fun.
how we suppose to know if u dont tell us ur fav genre's?
quake 3 for that matter
I too would highly recommend World of Warcraft if you like playing role playing games. It like a 3D DiabloII (also can be played online).
The world is absolutely enormous
See this thread for more info if you get into it it will steal your life away so be warned. There is a months free subscription in the price of the game.
You might want to take a look at this:
Mostly stats for FPS but at least you know which of these are popular and which are not...
At the end of the day you want to buy something which other people play too .
Enemy Territory, the best thing about it is that its free!

How old is that list? Seems funny thet WOW is not in there yet was the tops selling Pc game for round a month and was i the top 10 for ages if still not in it.
I don't know how often it's refreshed but it's pretty recent since Battlefield 2 is listed and that was released only a month ago.
I wonder how at No 40 the game there has 58servers and 174 players, how does that breakdown. Yet WOW must have sold over a million world wide and is not listed.
It doesn't look like Gamespy collects stats for WOW then. It doesn't cover every game unfortunately. Judging by sales though, I'd assume the online players are pretty high. Does anyone know of a site that gives stats for this game? I'd be interested to see how it fairs against the likes of Battlefield 2, Half-life 2 etc.
