Hi all!

We are looking to re-locate to New Zealand from the UK but would still like to keep in touch with family / friends.

To that end I am after the best set-up for a PC based video telephone type arrangement.

Any advice on would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

I know not what you asked but...

We're in India and skype in invaluable....very easy and cheap. It costs 1p a minute to UK landlines!

We've got "skype in". So we have a UK phone number that redirects to skype...so the parents can phone a local UK number and it redirects to us...cheap for them to call. We've kept our UK home number, got BT to put a recorded "Jus has changed him phone number to the sky number". If you're still using a UK credit card and they decide to block it because you're spending in a odd country they can call your skype number :)

I would recommend getting a phone that can plug into the landline and router so you can then receive and make landline and skype calls from the same phone without your PC on :)
