They're stretching the term "celebrity" a bit, I don't recognise any of those people pictured above.
(I just googled one of them, apparently he hits people in the face for money?)

I usually squander 3 weeks on this so I am so pleased they've managed to find a lineup where 7 of the 10 people are names I don't even know. And the 3 I do know are not interesting enough. So no need to watch this year.

I'm very much the same. Watched the "celebrities" come on last night and only 3 of them have anything about them. The rest - meh. Looked at my wife and we both agreed - not this year.

The extra show on ITV 2 or 4 whatever it is - is usually quite humerous but they have changed the female presenter and ditched the comedian ... so it was total rubbish !

Agreed the so called celebs are well & truly scraping the barrel this year.
Will watch a few episodes but if its boring I will not be watching either.

Just 3 weeks this year too ?

Why is I'm a celeb AND x factor both much shorter runs this year ?
(not that its a bad thiing lol).

Unfortunately my wife asked me to watch the first one to see the skydive and the high building task. So I did.
And yet again I got sucked in. The usual issue is that the celebs you don't know come with no preconceptions so you judge them on exactly what the programme shows and I must admit a couple of them who I never heard of before came over as quite nice people so it looks like I'm in for the duration again.
Always watch recording much later so not seen todays but hopefully no screamers who turn into the usual whipping boy ending up doing every trial. I enjoy it much more when they knuckle down and succeed. Apart from the girl from the saturdays the other women look like they'll be no nonsense grin and bear it participants...hopefully

Yes I decided that after seeing him quit the trial. He needs to put on a good show tonight. If he just gets on with it he should be in the clear but any sign of weakness and he'll be doing every trial.
If I had placed a bet before the series started on who this years whipping boy would be he would likely have been at the bottom of the list

Yes, same here, I didn’t think anything would phase him. He has however totally redeemed himself tonight, he did well in that last trial :smashin:.

Why would Jack Maynard fans bother to continue watching anyway? A threat to boycott seems a waste of time.
I wonder how many more celebs will get in hot water because of comments they made years ago? It really is time for someone to tell the whiners to shut up and move on.

Surely if it was that important, they should have done some research on him before getting him on?

Are we all to be held to account for all the stupid stuff we said and did when we were teenagers?

It seems odd that someone who's claim to fame is being on Youtube wasn't checked thoroughly regarding the usual social media sites.
I wonder how long it will be before someone has the guts to laugh it off as the ramblings of when they were young and just ride it out.
I don't know how old the Twitter posts are but they only need to be a few years old for him to properly claim they were made when he still had a kids brain.
We all know that most teenage boys are morons until they are 25 anyway - at least they are on the roads

Read about thick **** Khan's "Has a woman ever become prime minister?" remark this morning. And this dangerous driving **** thinks he's a role model .
