Please be advised, all buyers and sellers should satisfy themselves that the other party is genuine by providing the following via PM to each other after negotiations are complete and prior to dispatching goods and making payment:
    1) Landline telephone number. Make a call to check out the area code and number are correct too!
    2) Name and address including postcode
    3) Valid e-mail address (no disposable addresses such as @gmail or @yahoo for example).

DO NOT proceed with a deal until you are completely satisfied with all details being correct. It's in your best interest to check out these details yourself.
Also we advise that the vendor post images of the items for sale. This helps your sale by showing the condition of the goods prior to dispatch.

Well I thought it was being sold, but the buyer backed out so I purchased a new bigger screen purely for my graphical work I do. Got let down there so I'm stuck with two screens of which I don't need two.
Wow that was a bore, hope your still awake

Ahh. I would be using it for gaming and after some reading it appears the input lag wouldn't be suitable for what I'm looking for. Thanks for the reply though.

What! It doesn't have any lag. I have no idea where you read that. I game all the time BF3, Crysis FIFA, mmo's you name it i play it I can confirm to you this does not have any lag at all.

If you are referring to its 5ms I would challenge anyone to notice the difference. Really I game all the time I do graphics as a hobby so wanted a bigger screen I got this because it was ips an brilliant. Only selling for bigger screen otherwise is keep it. I paid £170 at launch

Mate, you are not going to notice any difference in input lag between this and any other screen, especially for this price.

Why are you concerned about response time? some ips monitors rated at 6 or 8ms are way faster than most of the 5ms TN ones. Now we are down to these low figures it really makes no difference.

Hi fella. I've seen the reviews that's the slowest times. Have a look at dells reviews of their screens some of theirs go to 30ms. But that's stress tested under a microscope I can guarantee you there is no ghosting. If there is my glasses need changing. I'd record a video if I could show you but alas there is no way of showing.
If I hast already purchased my screen is be keeping this one. It's a great value ips screen. It truly is a great screen. I can't bang on about it enough. You be hard pressed to get a better monitor at this price with warranty.
Do you live near swindon you could view it first

This is from the later dell u24...

LED backlit monitors take a little bit longer to dim/re-brighten. There is some lag there compared to CCF monitors.
The color accuracy/gamut is better than average but if you are serious about photo printing the CCF based Dells are better.
Reponse time is average (practical tests across different websites put it around 12-16ms). The fastest monitors in these tests are closer to 3-4ms and the slowest are around 30ms. Personally, 30ms is noticable to me but 16ms is not. These are not marketed as "gaming" monitors but I think that gaming monitors are not necessarily the best monitors.

    From PC pro or something.

One last point on this matter. Since you bought this to light, I've been researching heavily as well into this. It looks like the old mpg scenario.
Now I wouldn't lie to you, there is no ghosting at all it looks great. Bf3 on 60-80fps looks superb, in my opinion still looks better than crysis but that's nothing to do with the monitor.

Has the monitor any scratches anywhere? Have you the original receipt that you would send?

Would you accept £80 via BT?

Nope it's pristine it's just been replaced.

I'd rather not send the receipt as it has all the wives details on it. I would however give you my full contact details should there be an issue. I'd even send a copy of the receipt with her details blanked out if that would be ok. Either way I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker.

And thanks for the offer but 80 is too low for me.
    Thanks
    Neil

Well there's good news and bad news...

The good news is I'm certainly not a Blade (only the Mighty Whites for me ;))

The bad news is I can't pay via PP as I get clobbered for fees when I pay with my credit card :(

I'll be back home fairly late (around 9pm) so I can setup payment for Thursday. How does that sound?
